To insure that the privilege of using the auction site is not abused, we are planning to track and terminate registration of 3 types of offenders at this time. If other types of offenses are found to exist, they will also be tracked and their registrations revoked.
The offenders include:
- Any seller that posts an item that is not "G" rated.
This will include, but not be limited to, Profanity, Pornography, Racial slurs, Hate slogans, etc.
- Any buyer who is the high bidder and then does not accept the item.
The conditions for not accepting an item are discussed in both the User Agreement and Fee sections. If you are not a serious bidder, then don’t bid!!!
- Any seller who misrepresents the condition of an item.
Anyone who sells an item that is shipped to a buyer, and is refused twice because of the condition will have their registration revoked. How to determine the condition of a firearm is described in the ethics section of the GunsForSale site. They must be read and followed before placing an item for bid.
The deadbeat policies can change at any time as deemed necessary by the owners of the GunsForSale auction site.
