Firearm Gun Export
We receive many requests to ship guns out of the US and occasionally, one to bring one into the US from another country. Since I do not want to get involved in the red tape that is involved, I can refer you to a reputable group that has been exporting for a number of years, and in the gun business since 1957.
For someone outside the US wanting to have a gun shipped to them, there are several things that MUST happen before that can happen. They Include:
- Be sure that your country is NOT on the embargoed countries list.
- Obtain an International Import Certificate from your government. It MUST be an original, certified copy.
- It MUST be in English (or include a certified translation to English)..
- You will be responsible for the shipping and handling cost.
- Fees are typically $249 USD for the first gun, and $99 for each additional on the same transaction. There is also an upcharge of 3% of value of the guns exported, which goes to the Department of State for the exporter registration.
- The total time of this process can range from 4 to 10 weeks, so be prepared to not be in a hurry.
