Q: What is the green primer for?

A: Sellier & Bellot's 9mm ammo features a primer sealant which in this particular case is green. The color of the sealant is insignificant but primer sealant serves to make a cartridge more impervious to water preventing moisture from reaching the powder of a cartridge.
