I purchased for $310 and was skeptical until I fired the gun. I used Winchester 95 gr. FMJ and the felt recoil was mild. I love it. Waiting on the DB9! It has its glitches as all guns do. The main thing I found was that you have to firmly hold the gun for proper cycling. I loose handed the gun and it promptly jammed. Out of 100 rounds, only once! I have had Glock's with more issues. This is a sharp looking little gun and it draws attention every time I show it. Due to its size and weight, I now have a new companion in my pocket. I was carrying the Kel-Tec and my wife has since adopted it. Both guns are great but vanity has me loving the Diamond Back. (Posted on 3/8/11)Quality Performance Value
Product Question and Answer
Q: WHAT IS THE BEST AMMO FOR THIS GUN?
Posted On: 2/5/12 By: Mike
A: This Diamondback DB30 pistol will be reliable with a wide variety of .380 ACP ammo. For self defense use, the Hornady Critical Defense ammo is a great choice. For general shooting, Federal American Eagle and S&B FMJ ammo are great choices. If you'd like to see how accurate your pistol can be, try Fiocchi's 90gr JHP load.
