- Much better than I could imagine - Review by Wolf

I read all the negative posts about the DB 380 and was not thinking the DB 9 would fit for a carry gun. I rented one from my range and ran Winchester 115 range ammo and Federal range ammo through it and not one hickup. After 200 rounds I was sold. I bought my DB 9 about three months ago and I love it. I carry it everywhere and most of the time I hardly know it's in my front pocket. The DB 9 is easy to shoot very little kick due to the design and a good spring inside. The only drawback is the lack of available magizines. (Posted on 5/11/15)Value Quality Performance - Positive DB9 Review - Review by pistoltester

Purchased a DB9 yesterday, slipped off to my range and grabbed 150 rounds of PMC, 150 rounds of Blazer, and 150 rounds of Atlanta Arms. Shot 20 rounds of Fiochi, 20 rounds of Corbon DPX also. (I will not consider any carry gun reliable untill broken in and tested with common ammo.) The Diamondback DB9 ate them all. Recoil was manageable for follow-up shots even though the gun is remarkably compact, as I was expecting it to be very snappy like a micro 380 I was pleasantly surprised. The grip is well thought out, and comfortable. Trigger breaks at a clean 5 lbs. Accuracy was better than expected, 4 inch groups at 21 ft. There is no slidelock to catch on the inside of your pocket when drawing the weapon for firing. I like the adjustable rear sight, however the two dots could be a bit larger for quicker sight engagement. The breakdown is about 2 seconds without any tools similar to a glock. Concealment in a front pants pocket without a holster is superb as printing is minimal due to its slim profile and rounded off slide and grip. Why carry a 380 when you can carry a 9mm in almost the same size with substantially more stopping power? Over all... I like it. (Posted on 5/19/11)Value Quality Performance
