I've carried this gun for years. Mine has night sights and I love them. I carry concealed and as a backup weapon while on duty. I like that it will accept the magazines from my model 22 duty weapon. Have had no trouble except when using a Pearce grip that added 1 round to the magazine capacity. Since correcting that issue, no problems whatsoever. I can shoot just as well with this gun as my full size duty weapon. This is comfortable for open carry on the belt, but is a bit too heavy and bulky to carry on the ankle. Inside the waistband is okay, but again, something smaller would be appreciated. Excellent gun, one of many Glock .40 calibers that I have in reach at all times.
