Marlin's Model 795SS is a great rifle for target practice, plinking, or hunting. This rifle features a black fiberglass-filled synthetic stock with a stainless-steel barrel resulting in a durable auto-loading rifle. Stainless Steel will help prevent corrosion on the outside of the barrel making your firearm last longer than a blued-steel model.
The receiver comes grooved making it easy to add a scope later on for enhanced accuracy. Marlin's 795SS features an adjustable semi-buckhorn folding rear sight and a ramp front sight. The Marlin 795 is the Marlin 60 with a magazine instead of tube and also the 795 is the papoose breakdown model. The 795 is a full stock and the papoose is the the break down model. (Posted on 3/7/15)Performance Value Quality
