Rossi's Matched pair sets are an ideal training tool to teach youth how to teach. This long-gun starts as .22 Long Rifle rimfire rifle with adjustable sights and with a simple switch of the barrels is transformed into a .410 gauge shotgun. Simply loosen the front swivel and remove the forend and swivel. Open the action and insert the barrel, replace forend, tighten the swivel and it's ready to fire. The barrel change takes approximately one minute and no tools are required.
This single shot break open rifle/shotgun is an excellent training firearm for youth and makes for a great hunt or day at the range. With its transfer bar technology, manual safety, and low capacity this long-gun is perfect for a new shooter and saves from having to buy two firearms to teach both skill sets.
Rossi was founded in 1889 by Amadeo Rossi and since that time has become renowned for world class firearms with a tradition of excellence. Currently Rossi is imported into the United States by BrazTech International. Produced in Sa Leopoldo Brazil, Rossi is still family owned and run. With their family name on the gun, you can trust that Rossi will continue to produce high quality firearms.

The brand new .22 LR barrel was quite inaccurate until I cleaned lead out of it from factory test firing. It took 30 sweeps of the brass brush to remove the factory test fouling. Then the rifle was within 2 M.O.A.................................................................Carlon (Posted on 2/25/14)Quality Performance Value - This is one of the best deals you can get for a youth - Review by medic580

I bought this rifle for my 8 year old and he loves it. You have got to take it for what it is...a small rifle for a kid. I can switch barrels in about 45 seconds from the .22 to the .410...heck even my son can switch the barrels it is so easy. The .410 has a pretty good kick because the rifle is so light however a butt stock pad fixed that good enough. I zeroed the .22 at about 40 yds and can hit bulls eye all day long…nice fiber optic sights on the .22 barrel with lots of adjustment. It has eaten every kid of ammo I can throw at it with no misfires. It even shoots rounds that have appeared to be duds from my other rifles. Great little beginner riffle that will save you lots of money because you get two for the price of one. (Posted on 3/1/11)Quality Performance Value - not a good gun - Review by Big Ben
