- Outstanding concealed carry revolver - Review by TS

True "bang for the buck", easily concealed with the 3 1/16" barrel which is great during warmer months. With a choise of 4 different type rounds that the gun will accompdate makes practising more affordable using the .32 S&W or the longs. Switch to any of the .327 magnum JHP rounds to carry for self defense and this becmes a very formidable personal protection hand gun. Less recoil than a .38 Special and knockdown power approaching a .357 is what Ruger claims and I can attest to the recoil. Knockdown power is calculated same as every other manufacturer does, it's all based on ballistics and physics so I won't argue. The gun is a pleasure and not too expensive to shoot with .32 S&W (not .32 ACP) or 32 S&W Longs. It will also shoot .32 H&R Magnums but they get more expensive. Switch from any of those to the .327 Federal's and you can feel the difference right away. It's an awesome pistol, can shoot 4 different rounds and we found it very accurate for such a short barrel. My daughter loves it, especially when some ask the caliber and her reply is followed by "don't you mean .357?" I do wish it came with the GP style grip though. bought my wife and daughters one, and they love their "pig guns" very accurate with th 85,gr. factory, even the 127 gr leads hit right! for a gun and ammo that no one wants, they are very hard to find, Me. (Posted on 10/12/12)Performance Value Quality
