- Great deal - Review by Chuck

I have owned this gun for 5 or 6 years and have shot it quite a bit. Great shooter, and everyone who tries it wants one. As Rodrob mentioned, the only thing that takes some getting use to is the mag release on the front of the grips. I liked it so much I bought a 22S with a fluted 7 inch barrel. Don't know why S&W quit making this gun...Quality Performance Value

I have had some jams and stove pipes. But like all guns if you keep it clean and use good ammo it is a very good pistol! (Posted on 2/22/15)Performance Value Quality - Really like my S&W 22A. - Review by Rodrob

I've had my 22A nearly a year and have only put 2 or 300 rounds through it. I've used all types of ammo: the gun has never jammed on me, no stovepipes, no fail to eject, no non-feeds. The only thing I dislike about it is the magazine release placement. Cannot get used to that. Also when I change magazines, I have a difficult time releasing the slide-small hands. The 22A shoots well, is quite accurate, easy to point and is not too heavy. I'm thinking I want a 22A with a 4" barrel to carry. The gun is so reliable it would be a great carry gun and the price is difficult to beat. (Posted on 1/9/13)Value Quality Performance
