Details
This is a special edition set honoring the United States Marine Corps featuring the P238 pistol from Sig Sauer and a knife. The "Semper Fi" pistol features those words on the right side of the slide and the USMC bulldog on the top of the slide. The knife features "Semper Fi" and the Bulldog as well.
The words and art are both 24k selective gold inlay.
Like the other P238 pistols, this Sig is chambered in .380 ACP and small enough to conceal virtually anywhere. But small doesn't mean sacrificing features.
The P238 has large, visible night sights, and a crisp single action trigger. The barrel length is 2.7" long and the unloaded weight of this gun is just 15.2 ounces. Capacity is 6 + 1 rounds.
It doesn't matter if you want this gun for personal protection, or as a display piece, the P238 will do the job.

- Any Marines favorite backup - Review by USMCSGT

Value Quality Performance
The finish is smooth properly flat and the 24K gold is quite striking . If you were ever a Marine you will greatly appreciate the detail tho I do speak for many Marines when I say I truly wish they would have spelled out Semper Fidelis instead of abbreviating it .
The cons are the lack of a full capture spring ( Note that Sig will send you a improved flat spring with just a phone call), a second magazine and the lack of a spot in the case for the matching knife . a EGA would have been a nice touch also . Were they to add that to a subsequent model I would buy it also. (Posted on 7/12/12)
